Hello freshies!
These are the rules and regulations of NRA.
1. No food and drinks to be consumed in the studio
- You are allowed to bring in bottled drinks or food that is in a container but consumption must be outside the studio
- Food includes snacks like potato chips, corn snacks etc...
- Sweets are allowed (not allowed when having dance class) with proper disposal of sweet wrappers
2. Wearing of proper attire
- Wearing of slippers, pumps, caps, shorts, jeans and accessories are not allowed during classes
- Ear studs are allowed
- During dance practices for performances or competition, choreographers will determine what is suitable
3. Cleaning up of studio
- The studio must be left clean at all times
- No personal belongings to be left in the studio (it’s not our responsibility if lost)
- No littering
- Everyone’s responsibility to make the studio clean
4. Result and result slips
- All result slips to be sent to the current president of NRA within one week from the day the results are released
- The result slips are to be sent via e-mail by attaching a print screen of the results
- Failing of modules will lead to suspension from being able to participate in dance performances and competitions, depending on the severity, the committee and crew will decide on the duration of suspension. If need be, there might be a suspension from dance classes as well
5. Usage of studio
- No one except committee members and crew members are allowed to open the studio/ hold studio key
- The person(s) using the studio is/are responsible of ensuring the cleanliness in the studio
- The committee member or crew member who booked the studio will be responsible for the sound system
6. Absence from dance classes
- Attendance from classes must not fall below 75% quarterly
- You will have to inform the secretary/vice-secretary/planner one day before-hand if you are unable to attend dance class
- For dance practices, you must inform the person-in-charge and the choreographer if you are not able to turn up for practice, this has to be done one day before as well
- All the informing of absences must be done personally
7. Punctuality
- Anyone late for classes for more than 15 minutes will not be allowed to attend the class
8. Behavior in class
- Always ask for permission from the instructor before you go about your own things
- This includes drinking of water, answering of phones if it is an urgent call, going to the restroom and etc.
9. Performances and Competitions
- The president and/or vice-president of the club must be notified if you wish to take part in any performances or competitions outside of NRA
- The committee and crew will decide if that person or group can take part in the performance or competition
10. No vulgarities allowed
- It is a basic respect to the people around you not to use foul words
Failure to comply with any rule(s) will lead to punishment which will be decided by the committee and crew members. Also, please note that after today, there should not be anymore cases of you all not knowing about these rules and regulations. Anybody who doesn't comply to these rules and regulations will not be excused anymore.
